Lesvos Gold® Premium is a pure Greek extra virgin olive oil of outstanding quality, which is obtained from the “Kolovi” olive variety that grows exclusively on Lesvos. The trees of the “Kolovi” variety thrive on the mountain slopes in the south of Lesvos with little rainfall and plenty of sunshine. This gives Lesvos Gold® Premium olive oil an excellent balance of tart and fruity flavors with characteristic peppery notes. Lesvos Gold® Premium olive oil has a healthy high content of polyphenols and antioxidants
Lesvos Gold® Premium is selected during the early harvest, when the olive fruit begins to turn green. It is then crushed with great care during the cold pressing process.
Although the production is lower during the early harvest, the olives give their juice a more fruity and flavorful note, while at the same time contributing to our health, as they contain higher levels of polyphenols and antioxidants compared to other extra virgin olive oils. The healthy properties of olive oil are particularly evident in this product.
After harvesting, the olives are stored in crates under constantly monitored hygiene conditions. Within 5 hours, they are crushed by cold pressing using a centrifugal process. This ensures that the temperature of 27°C is not exceeded in order to preserve all the beneficial substances intact. In this way, an olive oil with unique aromas and flavors and numerous awards is produced.

Lesvos Gold® Premium preserves its quality through careful storage and bottling
Before bottling, Lesvos Gold® premium extra virgin olive oil is stored for a short time in stainless steel tanks, where the natural settling stage takes place under ideal conditions, i.e. without exposure to air at a temperature of 10-15°C. This is how Lesvos Gold® acquires its clear green color. This is how Lesvos Gold® acquires its clear, green color. Finally, during bottling, all packaging is selected to protect the olive oil from ultraviolet radiation, thus preserving its optimal properties.
